How Chip Challenger handles your data, cookies, and authentication. Guest users store data locally in the browser; authenticated users store data via Supabase with standard security practices. Effective date on the live page.
Chip Challenger is a browser-based poker tournament manager. This policy explains what information we collect, how it's used, and the choices you have.
Account data (email, display name) when you sign in, tournament and player data you create, subscription/billing status via our payment processor, and basic technical logs required to operate the service. We do not sell personal data.
To provide the tournament manager, sync your data across devices when signed in, process subscriptions, respond to support requests, and improve reliability. We do not use your data for advertising.
Authenticated data is stored in Supabase with row-level security so a user can only read and write their own rows. Payments are processed by Stripe. Guest data lives only in your browser's local storage.
If you sign in with Google, we receive your email, name, and avatar via OAuth 2.0. We do not access Gmail, Drive, contacts, or any other Google service. You can revoke access at any time from your Google account settings.
No advertising cookies, no third-party analytics that fingerprint you across sites.
Authentication and session cookies from Supabase and Stripe checkout are required for the app to work.
Guest tournaments, current tournament state, saved layouts, and UI preferences are stored in your browser's local storage on your device.
Short-lived state (e.g. redirect targets after login) is cleared when you close the tab.
Clear cookies and local storage from your browser settings at any time. Doing so will sign you out and clear guest tournament data on that device.
Authenticated data is retained while your account is active. Delete individual tournaments, layouts, or players from within the app, or contact us to delete your entire account.
We use Supabase (auth, database), Stripe (payments), and the hosting provider for the site. Each has its own privacy policy.
Beta or early-access features may collect additional feedback or diagnostic information; this is disclosed in-app when applicable.
Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.
Chip Challenger is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted on this page with a revised effective date.
Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to the contact address listed on the live page.
