Most successful home games follow two simple rules:
- Players start with 100–150 big blinds (classic) or 40–60 big blinds (turbo)
- The tournament ends naturally once average stacks drop below 10–15 big blinds

How to Calculate Starting Chip Stacks
Choose your first blind level, then multiply the big blind by the number of big blinds you want players to start with.
- 25 / 50 blinds → 5,000 chips = 100 BB (recommended)
- 25 / 50 blinds → 7,500 chips = 150 BB (longer game)
- 50 / 100 blinds → 5,000 chips = 50 BB (turbo)
